Nordic Biobank x NVIDIA Federated Learning Hackathon for Biomedical Applications
Nordic Society of Human Genetics & Precision Medicine, NVIDIA and Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital are pleased to announce our collaboration on the organisation of a hackathon / codeathon with the title “Nordic Biobank x NVIDIA Federated Learning Hackathon for Biomedical Applications”.
The hackathon will be organised during 16th -18th of September 2026 at the premises of Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The hackathon is organised in connection and collaboration with the Nordic Conference on Future Health 2026 conference. It will be possible to attend the full conference (except perhaps the final closing plenary on Wednesday afternoon) and relocate to the Rigshospitalet premises to participate in the hackathon from its beginning. Please explore the conference scientific programme for more information about sessions, confirmed speakers etc.
Participation in the hackathon is free of charge and by application only.
The hackathon is an important element in a new “Nordic AI in Research and Healthcare” initiative to engage public and private stakeholders across the Nordics in accelerating health AI research and business through, amongst other, use of Federated Learning infrastructure. Read more about the background for this initiative in “One-pager_NCFH 2026 & Federated Learning Hackathon”.
