Abstract Submission

The Nordic Conference on Future Health 2026 is scheduled to take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, 14-16 September 2026, at The Hangar at Clarion Hotel.

Abstracts must be submitted in English. 

All presenters will be required to attend in-person to make their Oral or Poster Presentations.

Poster Instructions

The poster area is located in Hangar 3 in connection with the exhibition area and the meeting rooms of the conference venue.
Posters should be set up on Monday 14 September 11.00-13.00

All posters should be taken down after the poster session is finished and no later than 16.00 on Wednesday 16 September . 

  • All posters should include title, name of authors, institution, city and country. The lettering of the title should be a least 25 mm high and the main text at least 10 mm high.
  • The poster should be easily readable from a distance of 2 meters.
  • The language of the poster should be English.
  • The measurement of your poster should be approximately A0 Portrait, (maximum 84.1 cm wide x 118.9 cm high – 33.1 in. wide and 46.8 in. high).
  • Please bring your poster to the conference yourself.
  • The Conference Secretariat will provide equipment for setting up the posters on the boards.
  • The Conference Secretariat does not take responsibility for left or damaged posters.
  • Abstracts are required for all oral presentations and posters.
  • Abstracts must be submitted before 20 May 2026 (23:59 CET)
  • Accepted abstracts will be published on the first day of the conference in a publicly available deliverable of the NCFH 2026 Conference.
  • It is the responsibility of all authors that all studies are performed with respect to national legislation, international legislation and ethical guidelines both with regards to humans and animals.
  • It is the responsibility of the authors that the author list is correct: all authors must qualify as authors and agree on the contents of the abstract.
  • It is the responsibility of the authors that the abstract is written in correct and clear English language. Language used should be inclusive and take into consideration the wide audience of the NCFH 2026.
  • Submitting a preference for an oral presentation does not guarantee selection. The final decision on presentation format (oral, or poster) lies with the Scientific Committee.
  • You will receive notification from the Conference Secretariat regarding whether your abstract has been:
    – Accepted for an oral presentation, or
    – Accepted for a poster presentation
  • By submitting, you confirm that your abstract represents original work and that you have the rights to submit it for review and publication.
  • The presenting author must register as an active participant at the conference at the latest 14 days after acceptance of an abstract.
  • The NCFH 2026 Conference Secretariat reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration at the latest 14 days after notification of acceptance.
  • The abstract word limit is max. 250 words per abstract (main text, excluding title, author names and affiliations, as well as funding information and references, if any).
  • The title should be as brief as possible but long enough to clearly indicate the nature of the study.
  • Names of authors may not be listed in the title or abstract text, as a “blind” review process will be used. You will be asked to enter the name(s) of author(s) and their institution(s), when you submit your abstract online.
  • The abstract must include the following:
    Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract.
    Methods: Describe your selection of observations or experimental subjects clearly.
    Results: Present your results in a logical sequence in text, table and illustrations.
    Conclusions: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study (perhaps as a discussion section) and the conclusions that are drawn from them.
  • All abbreviations must be defined in first use.
  • Max. 10 references or website-links may be listed at the end of the abstract, if applicable.
  • Funding acknowledgement should be included at the end of the abstract, if applicable.
  • The Scientific Committee will review and evaluate the abstracts.
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection of the abstract will be sent to all authors by 22 June 2026.
  • For accepted abstracts, the Scientific Committee will decide the type of the presentation, taking into account the preferred presentation type chosen by the abstract submitter.
