Welcome to NCFH 2026

The conference takes place 14–16 September 2026 in Copenhagen and will bring together 600+ participants including senior researchers, clinicians, decision-makers, and technology leaders from across the Nordic region and beyond.

The conference will have a strong focus on biobanks, multimodal data, healthcare, and AI.

Organised by the Nordic Society of Human Genetics and Precision Medicine (NSHG-PM), in collaboration with Denmark’s Statens Serum Institut (SSI) and the Nordic Biobank Network, the programme will include plenary sessions, keynotes, expert panels, and industry-led symposia.

The Nordic countries are often described as goldmines of health and population data, and the conference explores how biobanks and associated data infrastructures can responsibly unlock this potential—accelerating biomedical research, precision medicine, and clinical practice while maintaining public trust and strong governance.

On behalf of the local organising committee, we look forward to welcoming you to Copenhagen!
